House Rules

01

$20 buy-in, cash at the door

Exact change preferred. Tom is not running a bureau de change out of his garage.

02

No rebuys after 10pm

If you're out before 10, you can rebuy once. After 10, you sit, you watch, you offer opinions nobody asked for.

03

Phones away during a hand

You can check your phone when you fold. If you haven't folded it's because you're still in a hand, so put the phone down.

04

Slow rolls are a social offence

You know what you have. We all know what you have. Just turn the cards over.

05

The host's ruling is final

Tom is always right. This rule was written by Tom.

Snack Rota — Through March

[Jan 9][Marcus] — brought crisps, respectable effort
[Jan 23][Dave] — brought nothing, claimed he forgot, fined in goodwill
[Feb 6][Priya] — homemade samosas, raised the bar unreasonably high
[Feb 20][Rob] — supermarket dip selection, no complaints
[Mar 6][Jen] — TBD (she's been warned)
[Mar 20][Tom] — hosts every week, so crisps from the cupboard count

Dietary requirements: Dave is lactose intolerant but will eat cheese anyway. Not our problem.
